THE COUNTRIES OF EUROPEAN UNION

The United European was made after the second world war because there desire to create a peaceful and prosperous Europe.

Britain was not want to join in the European Economic Community(EEC)because it saw its future in the trading patterns of the commonwealth and special relation with the USA.In 1960's Britain join European Economic Community(EEC).But Franch President,Charles de Gaulle,he did not want Britain to join the EEC,A proposed public measure to a direct popular vote which is known as refrendum made the Britain to join EEC.

THE AGREEMENT

In 1957 six countries form European Economic Community(EEC) which were France,Italy,Belgium,Netherland,West Germany and Luxembourg
There are now 27 member countries in European Union working together for benefit of their country.It is major trading power and it head quater is in Brussel.

GREECE CRISIS

Greece is one of the European union countries .It was the first country to sign an Assocation Areement with European Economic Community as early as 1961.

In 1981 Greece joined EuropeanUnion

THE CAUSE OF GREESE CRISIS

Greese government took advantage of the economic good-times to borrow money and spend it .For exmple 2004 Olympics they used alot of money which lead to the crisis

And alsopay-rises for public workers

After the world economy went worse, Greece suffererd from the shortage of money and the banks started to loose hope for Greece to manage the crisis

Help from EU countries and the International Monetary Fund gave Greece 110 billion euros but with tough conditions.such as :

- To promise to cut its budget deficit that have led to the riots in Athens

THE AFFECTS THAT THE PEOPLE ON THE CRISIS

People of Greece are un employed they are protesting blaming there country for joining EU and also for taking IMF bailout package. Arguing it will lead to even tougher cuts to deflate the national budget deficit.
